Born on 2 September 1952 in Reading, England, and lovingly guided through the first 19 years of my life by my Mother Gwyneth who deserves lots of sympathy! I have a son Roger, who celebrated his 30th Birthday in 2003. Some of the best times of my life were when he and I were alone together between marriages. |
I did lots of fun things (but not much work) at the Bulmershe Grammar School near Reading which I left in 1969 - to start life in the real world. I joined the British Army in 1971 after trying a few different jobs including an engineering apprenticeship. The Army took me at last to some of the interesting places around the world of which I had always dreamed. However, the experience left me with no desire to return to the UK to live. I came to Germany at the age of 40, thinking now would be a good time to start life in the real world! |
I joined a partnership in 1992 to build up a riding/breeding/livery stables near Wassenberg by Heinsberg in Germany on the Netherlands border, where I lived until 2005. From 1997 to 2002 I also worked for an international courier company at the airport in Cologne, and then with handicapped people at the Lebenshilfe in Wuppertal unti 2005. From 2005 until 2009 I worked with my old colleagues in the courier company again, but this time near Augsburg in Bavaria, where I met Heike and where I shall probably stay for the foreseeable future. Heike and I finally married on the 6th November 2009 in Bournemouth, England. I am currently studying "Creative Writing" with the Open-Learning University in England and hope to earn a living with writing at some time in the future. Meanwhile I want to spend as much time learning, working with my horse, and enjoying life with Heike in the real world!

My interests include, Heike, Delilah, my American Quarter Horse GB Bond born on 18 July 2005, horse riding, music, camper van, travel, cinema and theater, wine and eating, and of course my computer. |
