Foreword

This diary was written during December 2006 with the help of notes made by Heike and I during our visit
and the approximately one thousand three hundred photographs I took using my new Canon EOS 350D camera,
bought especially for the occasion.

I also referred to the numerous travel guides, tourist guides, receipts and emails we collected.

I have included many Internet Links that may or may not prove of interest to the reader.
